Edinburgh
Edimburgo è la capitale della Scozia ed é situata nel centro oriente del paese, presso il Fifth of Forth vicino al mare del Nord. È suddivisa in Città Vecchia è Città Nuova. La prima si originò nel Medioevo, possiede edifici rustici e un’ampia collezione di architettura medievale (tra cui numerosi decorazioni di pietre).
La Città Nuova, invece, è più neoclassica e si diffonde in una successione di strade e negozi (come il Princes Street).
Edinburgh is the capital of Scotland. It is located in central eastern Scotland. It is located in central eastern Scotland, near the Firth of Forth, close to the North Sea. It divides between the Old Town and the New Town. The Old Town was built up in the Middle Ages; it has rustic buildings and a huge collection of medieval architecture (including numerous stone decorations).
The New Town, in contrast, is more Neoclassical and it spreads out in a succession of streets and shops (like in Princes Street).
